An Unlikely Suspect

French President Jacques Chirac, of all people, said that France was willing to use nuclear weapons in response to a terrorist attack against their country. His most interesting comment, no doubt, was as follows:

"In numerous countries, radical ideas are spreading, advocating a confrontation of civilizations," he said, adding that "odious attacks" could escalate to "other yet more serious forms involving states".

It seems like even the sheepish French have read the writing on the wall. No matter what you read in the newspapers or see and hear on the television, Islam is not a religion of peace. The fact of the matter is, however, that mainstream Muslims see the world in one of two lights. One light is that which is controlled by Islam, most of the Arab world. The second light, is the infidel world that you & I inhabit. You see, Muslims believe that there will always be conflict in the world until either the infidels are converted to Islam or conquered militarily. I am not exaggerating one bit. That is a basic belief shared across the Islamic world. So, keep telling yourself that we're dealing with reasonable people. Just like Herr Goebbels said, if you tell a lie often enough, it will eventually be accepted as the truth.
