Stupid, Stupid Insurgents, rather, Terrorists

In the infinite wisdom of the Iraqi insurgents, they decided that kidnapping the Archbishop, in Mosul, was a good idea.

By this action they have unmasked one their many true motives. This isn't just about freedom and all that hoopdy-blah. They view this as a religious conquest for their false religion of Islam. To define "this": 9/11, the WTC bombing, USS Cole, Russian school, and all their other little "activities". I'm almost getting tired of hearing myself say this (almost)...

ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION OF PEACE.

And it never will be. Those of you that want to live "peaceably" with the Muslim, go for it, on his turf. Don't you dare invite him over here & say that we can peacefully co-exist. From the very foundations of our beliefs, we are pitted in a deeply entrenched warfare with each other. We are not on the same side as the Muslims and will never be on the same side.

I frequently make a joke when I'm discussing current Muslim-related (read: Islamic terrorist) events with a girl up here, at the college: "Learn your place. You should be ten steps to the rear and never speak in public." Then we yuck it up some more. Yeah, it may be funny here, but in some twisted sections of the world, she would be beaten to within an inch of her life if she spoke or walked next to a guy. Tell me what about such an action is 1) peaceful and 2) tolerant? Give me a break! I really don't understand why the Femi-Nazis aren't screaming all over the television for the liberation of women and their rights in these backward Muslim countries, but I'll save that one for another day.

And for the dumb-arse at FOX that decided to make a deal with Hamas (AKA: Council on American-Islamic Relations), get a grip. Don't back down from what you see in the real world. By making believable characters, you increase the appeal of your television show ("24"). But again, this belongs in a different post.
